Seated quickly even though it was prime time: 6:30. Despite the pretty full restaurant service was swift. Ordered the omakase and some items off the special menu, including baked mussels and of course: Ikura, my son's favorite. Complementary edamame. Sushi actually melted in your mouth deliciously indicating the chefs took considerable care in preparing of each piece. Atmosphere was energetic but quite enough for us to hear each other talk and have a good conversation. Tab came out to $88 for the two of us. Parking is free in a lot just outside the restaurant.

The sushi here is good. Really good. Fish is fresh and portions are generous. They have a really great happy hour as well as lunch specials that make their food a good value during certain hours of the day but it is very much still worth it regardless. I usually take orders to go but if you dine-in you are treated to a complimentary salted Edemame, Miso soup, and attentive service from staff. You can choose to sit at the counter/bar area or the tables. They have so many good rolls and sushi options but if I had to choose one to share with you it would be the caterpillar role! You get a soft prickle from the sweet broiled eel at first (think thorny/prickly caterpillar legs) that is quickly covered up by the creaminess of the avocado and snow crab in a heavenly combination.

Absolutely always love coming to Oto when i'm having a sushi craving! The people are always nice, the quality of fish as well as speed of service is always very good! I feel like for the portion size and price it's perfect! 10/10 always recommend this place :) Also if you're dining in they always give a complementary bowl of edamame.

We've been coming here on and off for a few years now. Perks: complimentary bowl of salted edamame upon being seated, the sunomono (cuke salad) is amazing, miso good, great service, fast service, rolls good! Wishes: we asked to start with the gyoza, but received after our rolls, udon forgettable (egg over cooked, chicken tasteless, floating cabbage in soup felt like lettuce) and need to dust above sushi bar.

Best sushi rolls in Kirkland. I love the sashimi and I love all the different types of rolls they have. Super good. Great service too. One of my go to sushi restaurants in Kirkland. And it is pretty popular too in the Juanita area

Oto in Kirkland is a small place with tables and seats along a small sushi bar. It has a wide variety of items on their menu that include sushi, sashimi, and cooked dishes like fried rice, karaage, noodles, and other things. The Friday night we went it was about 3/4 full and had regular table turnover. They bring edamame (cold) to the table and miso came with our meals. Rolls are a very generous portion and the sushi was fresh tasting.

Oto Sushi is my new go-to in Kirkland! It's conveniently near Juanita Park with easy parking. They do lunch and dinner, offering everything from sushi to comfort grub like rice bowls. Inside, it's chill with plenty of seats - never had to wait, even during peak times. The service rocks; they bring out drinks and edamame right away, a cool touch. Lunch is our vibe for the wallet, but dinner has more choices. Fish isn't super fancy, but it beats conveyor belt joints or places in the same price zone. The salmon passes our taste test. Love that they don't overload the nigiri with rice, letting the fish shine. Soy sauce isn't crazy salty, and the free miso soup has a sweet kick. Rolls come in different price ranges, and they're worth it. Our top pick is the King Salmon roll. They're quick with the food - no long waits. We usually drop around $20 per person for lunch. Overall, Oto Sushi nails it with a sweet location, reasonable prices, a mix of options, and tasty bites. Perfect for a laid-back sushi fix!

I'm not sure why this place isn't better rated. I recently started working nearby and Oto has become one of my go to lunch spots. They have HH pricing during lunch until 5pm I believe where you can literally get a sushi combo with a roll + 6 pieces of nigiri for $19.95. Living in Seattle, the nigiri alone would be $19.95! They have apps and rolls ranging from about $5 up to $15. Then combos for $20. Entree prices all around $15 as well. It feels like a steal. The quality of the fish has all been great as well. I might have a few knocks on what can sometimes feel like rushed service but during lunch hour, I'm also in a rush so haven't really minded. Let's just say they are very efficient and run a brisk in/out business.
